# TrustScan

> TrustScan is an AI-powered email scanner for Gmail that detects phishing, scams, and AI-generated malicious emails. It runs as a Chrome extension that analyzes the emails you open — checking senders, links, subject and body content — and shows a trust score with clear warnings (safe, caution, phishing, scam). It catches classic phishing and scam attempts as well as newer AI-written attacks and brand-impersonation, right inside Gmail. There is no separate web app or public API; the product works inside Gmail after you install the extension.

## What it does

- Scans a Gmail message on demand and returns a trust score plus a plain-language verdict (safe / caution / phishing / scam).
- Flags suspicious senders, mismatched or laundered links, and brand-impersonation signals.
- Runs client-side in Chrome; analysis is performed by TrustScan's backend and results are shown inline in Gmail.

- **Basic** — $5/month or $30/year, 100 email checks per month.
- **Smart** — $7/month or $59/year, ~300 email checks per month, more advanced phishing/scam protection, unlimited users.
- **Business** — 100,000 credits and unlimited users, custom pricing (contact support).
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe. No long-term contracts; cancel anytime.

## How to use it
